How much does lip blush cost in Sydney?
Prices for lip blushing in Sydney vary more than most people expect. This guide explains what sits behind the number, what a fair quote should include, and exactly what we charge at our Neutral Bay clinic.

In short
At Reejuvenate, lip blush is $650 for the initial session, $180 for the perfecting session at 6–8 weeks, and $450 for an annual colour refresh. Across Sydney, first sessions commonly range from around $500 to well over $1,200, and the perfecting session is sometimes included and sometimes charged separately, so compare the total for both sessions rather than the headline price.
What you are actually paying for
A lip blush is not a single appointment. A complete result takes a consultation, colour matching against your natural undertone, careful mapping of the shape, the tattoo session itself, and a perfecting session six to eight weeks later once the first layer has healed. When a Sydney studio quotes a price, the first question to ask is whether it covers one session or two.
Consumables matter too. Every appointment uses a fresh sterile needle cartridge, single-use barriers, numbing and pigment. TGA-compliant pigments and hospital-grade sterilisation cost more than the alternatives, and that difference shows up in the price.
Why quotes in Sydney vary so much
- Experience. Artists with years of healed results and a returning client list charge more than someone building a portfolio.
- What is included. Some prices include the perfecting session, numbing and aftercare. Others add them on.
- Studio versus home set-up. A registered clinic space with proper sterilisation has overheads that a home studio does not.
- Location. Inner-city and Eastern Suburbs rents push prices up. Lower North Shore clinics like ours can be more accessible without cutting corners.
- Technique. Soft, layered colour built over two sessions takes longer than a single heavy pass, and it lasts better.
What a cheap lip blush can end up costing
The expensive lip blush is usually the one that has to be fixed. Uneven colour, a border that migrated outside the lip line, or a shade that healed too cool or too orange all need correction work, and corrections take longer and cost more than the original tattoo. Lightening or removing a poor result is slower and more expensive again.
This is why we recommend judging any Sydney studio on healed photos rather than fresh ones. Fresh lip blush always looks bold and even. Healed results, photographed weeks after the perfecting session, show what you actually paid for.
Our pricing, line by line
- Initial session: $650. Includes the complimentary consultation, colour matching, mapping, numbing and the full tattoo session.
- Perfecting session: $180, booked 6–8 weeks after the first. This is where the colour is evened and settled. Almost everyone needs it and we plan for it from day one.
- Annual colour refresh: $450, for clients who want to keep their colour at full strength year after year.
Consultations are complimentary and there is no pressure to book on the day. If lip blush is not right for you, Maree will say so.
Is lip blush worth the price?
Most clients keep their result for two to five years. Taken together, the initial and perfecting sessions come to $830, which spread over that time works out to a few hundred dollars a year for colour that is there when you wake up, swim, eat and work out. Whether that is worth it is personal, but it helps to compare it against years of daily product rather than against a single appointment.
